    Hi, I’m an African American Male, and I love to cook, create, and experiment, I’ve tried many dishes at home and abroad, when you say Mustard Greens are you really talking about American Mustard Greens, grown in some of our backyards, if so, do they get tender enough in the time your recipes suggest, or are they supposed to be a little crisp, I love my veggies crisp, but my family does not….Please advise.

    Hello tony it is great to hear you’re an adventurous cook. Now, for this dish it should be similar to american mustard greens. as a matter of fact you could even use Kale to substitute. it would not be crisp in this dish.
